Yes, that's right. Look at sennuyer and lovedoesthat, voicing their shame to the world. I love the smell of assimilation in the morning.
I watched, of all things, Sky High today, and it was essentially Harry Potter lite, in every conceivable way. And this is why you never ever want to say you're leaving any fandom, because the moment you do you'll do something like watch a silly nonsense movie that has a firmly Harry/Draco character dynamic, which will remind you of exactly why you love them as much as you do. And you'll be instantly hit with the urge to go back and re-read all your favorite fics and write LUW til your fingers fall off, and oh Harry. Oh Draco. I love them so much. They snark! They snog! They fight and have sex at the same time! ♥ SURELY THEY SHALL FIND HORCRUXES TOGETHER AND LIVE HAPPILY EVER AFTER AND DRACO WILL STEAL THE COVERS EVERY MORNING AND HARRY WILL LET HIM, and in their old age they will snark and be grumpy and perfect, like House and Wilson with more war wounds and less fake American accents. *_*
Speaking of House, I finally caught up on last week's episode today, and oh my god, House/Wilson FOREVER. I love that show so much. And I am still this close to finishing the House/Wilson fic that I started in October. All I need is a medical degree so I can figure out how to save the patient. Stupid doctor crap. Why can't they just skip that stuff and focus on the perfect Odd Couple romance of Greg and James? *_*
ALSO ALSO, to prove that I can talk about things that are not related to tennis, I have been wanting for the longest time to talk about how much I am enjoying Bones. I did not expect to like this show, because I've never liked forensics shows and I've certainly never liked David Boreanaz or Fox in general. But I really like Bones. I love the character of Bones because she's such a complete dork and an utter geek, and I love that the show is unapologetic about showing how lame she is. She's a bit like Monk in terms of her erratic behavior. You don't like her because she's traditionally sexy - you like her because she's good, she's capable, she's determined, and she's unafraid to be exactly who she is. And besides, there's her best friend Angela to kick in all the stereotypical appeal of the badass hot chick who's also smart. I really want Bones femslash for those two. I usually don't ever go "ooh" over a femslash pairing, either, so that makes Bones even cooler in my book. (Well. Unless you count Paris/Rory, which will always be the secret wished-for pairing of my heart.)
Um. What else haven't I been keeping up with? Lost. I have completely given up on Lost and it's all Ana Lucia's fault. Frakking Ana Lucia Same with SGA. I am stuck at ep 13 of S2 and have not caught up yet. :(
This lj entry is completely boring. Uh. Back to the tennis with today's Screencap of Love:
flyby: there is just a hint of glee in Ryoma's face, I always think. Like he is thinking that now he can take buchou home to be his pillar forever.
bookshop: sdajdf;lkasjsd; ahahahahaahha, i'm sorry, how do you get HINT OF GLEE out of that.
bookshop: if that is a hint of glee then all of Seigaku wants Tezuka to be their pillar tonight.
bookshop: at least we're not imagining things.
bookshop: that would make us tezuka/fuji shippers.
